Vantage is a second brain for your business and your life. Say or type anything on your mind, and it automatically turns into the right thing — a task, a reminder, a checklist, or if you run a business, a real quote or invoice. No more losing job details in text threads or forgetting to follow up: capture it once, and Vantage tracks it until it's done. Here's how, feature by feature. No account needed to read this.
Type or tap the mic in the capture bar and say what's on your mind, in plain language — "dentist appointment this Thursday" or "pick up lumber for the Chen job." Vantage reads it, suggests a title, category, priority, and section (Personal or Business), and fills in a reminder automatically if it noticed a date or time. Review the guess in the confirm dialog, fix anything, and save.
Capture something like "grocery list: milk, eggs, bread" and Vantage recognizes it as a list instead of a single item — each thing becomes its own line you can tap to check off, right on the card. Good for groceries, packing, or steps in a project. This is a Personal-plan feature and up.
Any captured item can carry a one-time or recurring reminder. Enable push notifications from the bell icon in the top bar to get them on your device — that's a Personal-plan feature and up; without push, reminders still show on Home and Calendar, and you can snooze one for an hour with the clock icon on its card. Set quiet hours in Settings → Account to stop non-urgent reminders from notifying you overnight.
A separate, recurring checklist on Home for the things you do every single day — wake up, make the bed, read for ten minutes, whatever your routine is. Add items once; they reset to unchecked automatically each new day, with nothing to clean up yourself.
Capture something in the "Job" category and Vantage offers to create a Job record alongside it — client name, schedule, and status. Open a job to add materials, costs, and notes. This whole area — Jobs, Quotes, and Invoices — is a Business-plan feature.
Quotes: every job can generate a client-ready quote PDF, pulled live from that job's materials, cost estimate, and notes — there's no separate "quote" you fill out by hand. Vantage even drafts a short scope-of-work paragraph from your notes. Set your business name, logo, tax rate, and default terms once in Settings → Business profile, and every quote uses them automatically. Generate one from a job's page, or from the Quotes tab, which lists every job in one place and has an Edit shortcut back to it.
Invoices: each job has an invoice amount and a status (not invoiced, invoiced, paid) you update as work moves along — from the job page or from the Invoices tab, which also totals what's outstanding across every job and has its own Edit shortcut. There's no separate invoice document generated; it's a status you track, not a bill Vantage sends for you.
On any job's page, "Quote email" and "Invoice email" generate a ready-to-copy, client-specific email — a professional draft pulled from that job's real client name, amount, and materials, not boilerplate. Invoices let you pick between a ready-to-send version and an overdue reminder. Edit the subject or body before copying, and send it from your own email.
Settings → Price book holds what your materials and services typically cost, so quotes can fill in a price even when you didn't say one out loud. Start from one of 47 searchable starter packs for common trades and services (plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, and dozens more) — add, edit, or delete anything after. Vantage also learns prices automatically from materials you've priced on past quotes.
Vantage ships with six starting categories (Task, Reminder, Idea, Note, Material, Job) and creates new ones on the fly when a capture doesn't fit an existing one. Manage them — rename, recolor, delete, or merge — from Settings → Categories. Use the search bar or Home's filters to find anything by text, category, priority, or status.
Deleting a job or a capture doesn't erase it right away — it moves to Trash, in the sidebar, for 30 days. Restore anything from there, or delete it for good early. After 30 days it's removed automatically; nothing to clean up yourself.
Starter, Personal, and Business unlock different parts of Vantage — see the Pricing page for exactly what each includes. Personal comes with a 7-day free trial the first time you switch to it. Cancel or switch plans any time from Settings → Plan — one click, no fees, no phone calls. Vantage is in early access, so switching is free and instant for now, ahead of real billing.
Add Vantage to your home screen for an app-like experience with offline capture and real push notifications — look for the install prompt, or use your browser's "Add to Home Screen" / install option. Captures made offline sync automatically once you're back online.
